Following the plans outlined in the video below this next one (“The Next Steps for WKTEP”) it is gratifying to be able to document some of what has come to pass as the West Kootenay Teacher Education Program transforms to become even more vital in its communities, and responsive to them. The West Kootenay Teacher Education Program has been a major focus in recent years. This video outlines plans – undertaken with gratifying success in 2014 and 2015 – to move WKTEP almost entirely into the schools of five rural school districts in the West Kootenay region of southern and south-eastern British Columbia:
